of pure, freedom and submission

6:06 PM

salam alayk.

after performing my zuhur solat, i sat on the prayer map. the only sound i could hear was the sound of the fan. and all i could feel is serenity, alhamdulillah. i reminisced back the video that i watched just now on youtube.

lately, ive been struggling with what my heart want and what my heart need. i just hope that this d&t path of mine could be what i want it to be.

just like i want to do d&t in my very own way, not like usrah thingy and such. i want it to be one of a kind stuff like that. and thus, i keep mixing the way i do it with some sort of jahiliyah, something like that. doing music, something like that.

to a certain point, i realised that all i did was mixing between haq and batil. worst, i like the batil more. astagfirullah.

When his Lord said to him, "Submit", he said "I have submitted [in Islam] to the Lord of the worlds.
islam is all about submitting ourselves wholly to Allah. and we shall not submit any part of our heart to anything else, other than our Creator, Allah. and what type of Islam Allah wants from us?

"well, i wear hijab. but i want to do it on my own. i prefer the one colourful, exposing my shape.."

"owh, i went to usrah just now. now, i want to watch running man..."

"i love my usrahmate! they're jovial. and i think that's the only reason i go to usrah.."

"i want to be apart of this path, but i dont want the hard one. is there any easy path? pleasee.." -worst-

hopefully, our islam are not from above statement, insyaAllah. the islam that Allah had demanded from us is very very easy, unless we think that it is a burden for us.

Say, "Indeed, my prayer, my rites of sacrifice, my living and my dying are for Allah , Lord of the worlds. (6:162)
the only islam that He asked from us is that our prayer, things we do, our whole life and death are solely for Him. that's it. there's no other way round. period.

i still remember when watching yusuf estes's video. he was consulting a man who is going to embraced islam. (alhamdulillah, Allah had showed hidayah to Him). and all Allah want from him is only one thing.

HEART.

that's the only thing. and He want the pure heart. not the one that already mixed with some drops of evil or something bad.

And indeed, for you in grazing livestock is a lesson. We give you drink from what is in their bellies - between excretion and blood - pure milk, palatable to drinkers. (16:66)
well, did you find any lesson from above ayat? ;)

indeed, what we have drink from the bellies of cow or sheep or goat, etc is a purified milk. in which the milk is mixed with the blood at first. then Allah purified it so much that we are able to drink milk, not blood that is full of toxins and waste substances.

our heart should be that way too. we need to purify it so much, until there is no even a molecule of evil inside it. we cannot have both in this heart. we cannot have Allah in other side and dunya in other side. this thing will not work somehow. we need to worship only to Allah. to put our attachments/ heart to things in this dunya is not a good thing to do, unless we have put Allah first in everything that we do.

we have to do that. why? because we are just a servant in this world. nothing else. even ourselves are not belong to us, they are belong to Allah. our mind, heart, textbooks, water, etc. all of it. yeah, we have our Master, Allah.

Have you seen the one who takes as his god his own desire? Then would you be responsible for him?
to follow our own gut and lust to achieve what we want is simply syaitan's trick. he want us to feel good. to feel that we are already satisfy our own need. we feel free to do this and that. we have our own freedom.

back to the video above:

"the true freedom is that, freeing ourselves from the bondage of our own lust and dunya to the attachments and submission of our heart truly for One God, Allah. by that, there is no limitations of our amal just for Him, insyaAllah."

"Being Allah's servant is a great honour. when u dont find Him in your heart, you will find something else and you will run your whole life after it. nothing more important for me, rather than to please Him. do everything just for Him." Nouman Ali Khan.

even this picturesque Dal lake is a servant of His, you know
look the nature around ourselves. tak nak ke berlumba-lumba dengan diorang, siapa lagi banyak bertasbih pada Allah! hehe.

wallahu ahlam.

p/s: please wait for kashmir trip ok! :)
