kaif and taj mahal

6:06 PM

salam alayk.

this week is a test for me. for Allah is really love me. doakan saya yang terbaik ya! :)

i wanna continue my agra trip now since im halfway done with cranial cavity chapter, so i guess i should give myself some treat. hehe.

our driver, mr ravi arrived in front of the hotel by 10 am. and somehow, we were feeling sad because we are going to leave jaipur, such a nice place. the journey from jaipur to agra was somehow had the same duration as the one from delhi to jaipur. but on our way to agra, we had a stop at fatehpuri sikri. in fatehpuri sikri, we went to amber fort (not exactly, we didnt want to pay the entrance fees. hehe) and a fatehpuri masjid (if im not mistaken about the name)

in the fatehpuri sikri, there were lots, i really mean lots of children selling things, postcard, asking for donation for charity and etc. i felt pity for them. i think they were used for wrong purpose. there was one boy, named kaif. he is so cute and he kept following whenever im going. others have theirs too. ;P i felt annoying at first, but then i started to feel pity for them. along the way, i had a chat with kaif.

"apka nam kya hai?" (what's ur name?"

"kaif."

"how old are you?" he seems to understand english.

"8 years."

you dont go to school? where's your slippers? did your mum know you are not going to school?" i asked him many times.

"im going to school. but today, the school had holiday." he answered. in fact, that day was around tuesday i think.

"my family thinks for me to go to school, i need to be here first, so that im able to pay my school fees." he added more.

i thought india has a free education system.

"please buy this postcard." he showed me colourful ones.

"i dont want." because i afraid if im buying this, i supported him to be used for this wrong purposes.

"please, i'll give you rs100. no, rs50. please.." kaif pleaded at me.

i looked into his eyes. i felt sad, because im unable to do anything for him. yeah, he's a muslim. i should help him right. and there i was. clueless about what should i do.

he was still following me, even i was outside the shrine and outside the masjid. he's even sit with me, when i was sitting on the stairs trying to tie my shoestring. how loyal he is. or i should say he's desperate. or his mindset had been set as it is.

not only kaif, but there were whole lots more, and they were following my mum, sisters and friends. poor them. and this trip too fatehpuri sikri was not an enjoyable one, rather it was pitstop for me to reflect back what i had gained in this life, and to be grateful that im not born from the womb of Indian women, ended up like kaif and friends. hopefuully, this destiny of me is the best one Allah had gave. i left fatehpuri sikri with many thoughts, yet to be reflected. hee... Alhamdulillah.

then, we continued our journey to agra and reached there by 4 pm. our tour guide was waiting in the hotel lobby, but then we said that we were too tired, so we decided to visit taj mahal the next morning. the hotel that we stayed was a decent one, i prefer the one in jaipur. hee. so, we settled down ourselves in the room and rest. we didnt unpack much because the next morning, we were going to check out the hotel, visit taj mahal, lunch and straight to delhi railway station for train to jammu, kashmir. so, we were going to have a long day.

so, i dont know how to describe taj mahal. subhanallah. if not because of Allah's strength, the workforce couldnt make enough of this building. and Allah is the best Creator, He made the sky and the earth, remarkably. words are not enough to describe it. so, i just left the story to the pictures again.

the number of the dome have relation with the ones in taj mahal gate

the courtyard inside the mosque. the white building is the shrine. tapi, takbest la. depa pi sembah makam tu. nauzubillah.

bersungguh2 depa nak jual ni. kita pun kena la sungguh promore islam. :)

mum got a new son from india. hee..

inside the shrine

letak beg di depan. takut disaku celukkan.

nampak sebelah gua (bertudung kuning), ada kanak2 setia bersama gua. kaif!

mencari tempat solat. kata masjid. untuk perempuan tiada.

kaif is the one nearest to the camera. comel.

view from the stairs.

"you want to take my picture?" -.-"

in front of amber fort's entrance
now, the next day, is taj mahal la kan. (warning: boleh muntah gambar. maaf lah)

untung la masuk gambar.

so, that's all for today! alhamdulillah.

the fact that Allah had planned us to go to agra and fatehpuri sikri was none other than to gain ibrah from the fate of people in the past and now. may Allah show us His mercy upon us. insyaAllah.

p/s: tired these days. gonna blog again to tell you the story. insyaAllah. :)

salam alayk!
