aswad, the 'budak hitam'
1:03 AM
salam alayk.
so, i'm back, here in manipal. it's been almost a week. and alhamdulillah, i'm good. very good, insyaAllah. i arrived in manipal around 7.30 am on tuesday, started my class on wednesday, bought a scooter on thursday, and baking cake on saturday. quite hectic. plus, this new year 2 class is quite packed. everyday, we will be having class from 8 am to 5 pm. and our practicals took so much time from our class time table. so, yeah, we're getting onto little step to become dentist, insyaAllah.
so, i just wanna tell a story. since we (me and anis nur) bought a second hand scooter, we thought it will be quite good, because its age is just 2 years old. and we named it aswad. sebab the meaning is 'budak hitam'. our scoot is black in colour. but then, things turned so wrong for aswad. kesian dia.
at first, we cannot start nor kick start it. we blamed the weather for being too cold (monsoon), so the engine couldnt warm up. lol. then, we parked it with no shade and rain poured heavily onto him. :(. we cant start him. we were all wet, until there came 2 akhis to rescue us. eceh. tapi, memang waktu tu Allah nak tolong juga kan. he cant help but he's merciful enough to help us by calling a foremen to rescue us. and then, aswad turned good again.
in every morning, when we went down to go to class, we always noticed that some liquid had been leaking from the night before. we thought the petrol was leaking, but then took no action as the foremen said it wouldnt be any problem at all. then, while we were speeding on the road, the power turned off suddenly. turned out that there was no oil. what? we just filled it the day before. :( and the very same akhi came to rescue us. and we were not late for class! alhamdulillah.
and the third predicaments of aswad happened on the same road, but with different people. we were on our way to a seafood restaurant. and again, aswad broke down. while speeding on the road, in the night. while trying to kick start and search all other possible ways to start it, we found no way. we felt dejected. how wrong aswad could be. and the moment we decided to walk home by foot, a tempe approached us, asking if there was any problem. he looked like a foremen, based on his bike and shirt.
"yeah, yeah, can you check what happen?" i asked him.
"owh, overflow." he replied, while showing some part in the engine.
anis asked him more questions, but he cant communicate well.
"i dont speak english. only hindi. hindi, hena?" he asked us,
"nehi, nehi. no hindi." i answered.
and alhamdulillah, insyaAllah aswad will always remain healthy as a horse. hehe.
so, the morale is, even scooter like aswad can teach us the meaning of patience, hope, trying and everything. baru berapa hari ja pakai, tapi dah macam-macam berlaku. i guess it didnt over yet. insyaAllah. :) so, take a moment to appreciate what you had or have. you will soon find out that there are countless of things you had learned from them. insyaAllah. :)
may Allah bless you, good night.
