i thought we could go so far into the town of sonamarg. little did we know that the road to sonamarg was covered by thick snow, hence we need to walk or ride a horse. ride a horse probably our last resort because we want to ride a horse in pahalgam, besides it was expensive. the horse people, even they said they will charge you rs100, but at the end of the ride, they said rs1000. so, beware.

for me, sonamarg was very beautiful, in its own way. subhanallah. the valley, the river, the blue sky, but it was really cold, plus the strong wind there. in fact, the road to there, leads to ladakh too, so in summer, it will be quite busy with tourist and backpackers who wished to go hiking there. it was splendid. the sun was very sunny but you can't feel the heat. i told mr firdous, that we want to go to sonamarg again, but in summer, because we can go hiking and catching trout and etc. we'll see then, insyaAllah.
