Adam, the kindergarten boy
12:40 PM
Assalamualaikum
Friday was supposed to be a holiday for us, but unfortunately those who haven't gone to kindergarten for community visit has to make it on Friday from 10.30-12.30 pm. I was a bit reluctant to go because it was just gonna be a visit, and I can make it home by Thursday evening. However, my heart told me to stay, and it will be no harm in doing that. Plus, I'm gonna do nothing on Friday morning if I were at home. So, I decided to make a try.
It was worth it. Actually, when we first arrived at kindergarten, I shrieked a bit thinking that I need to treat this children and enjoy and play games with that. I had no experience playing with kids, absolutely. So, they asked every one of us to guide one kid. So that, it will be easier to teach them how to brush their teeth, etc. So, I picked one named Adam. As he is quite young, he is still unsure of his age. So, I decided to determine his age by observing his primary teeth. Cool, huh?
His age shouldn't be more that 5 years and I concluded that he is somewhere end of 3 years of age going 4. Told you that this is my first time treating kids, so I was a bit clueless initially. The things with kids is that we often give them what they want and follow what they prefer to. That thing may worked in some circumstances but in kindergarten kids, it's better not.
Adam is a very good boy. He has no objection in brushing his teeth and he is quite amateur in it, I could say! but his coloring was still need to be improved. I assumed that at his age, the skills on answering questions, coloring and talking to people are still below the par, but it is okay for his age. He is very sincere. You know, kids. They always honest with their feelings. If Adam doesn't want to play musical chair, he will tell you. And if he is hungry, he will tell you he wants to eat. And if he feels that his papa already came to fetch him, he will tell you too! Although it was just his illusion. LOL. I love him for being so honest and a very good boy!
Love you to the moon and back!
You still have long way to go in this life. Sis Aida wishes you all the best and makes the best of this life ok!
